Yum!! Yum!! Service was very good, waitress was pleasant and did a good job serving us. Chicken parm somehow became eggplant but other than that everything was fine and the bread sticks and salad bowl were great!

Three things: bottomless soup, salad, and breadsticks. Order the minestrone for your soup. You will leave happy and full!

I had the bottomless soup, salad, and didn't eat the bread sticks. My Mom got the spicy Shrimp Fritta. Wow was it good but whoo eyy was it spicy. We meet here once a month and have lunch together and it's always nice and clean and good service and good food. I love their soups.

I went here the other night with my kids and we had a great time. Very good food, pleasant server, and good service. We didn't have any problems. I will definitely go back to this one again. The only problem was that I wasn't offered the free wine sample.

I really like Olive Garden for its all you can eat soup. The zuppa toscana is my fav soup. Sometimes with my meal, I'll end up getting 3 bowls and eat only a little bit of the main course as I just can't stop eating the soup! The last time I went to this one, the service was good. Fast and prompt but I would assume that would be hit or miss as most service in chain restaurants are. I got the shrimp and aspargus risotto, I think, and it was actually a lot better then I expected. The major draw to this place for me is the price and the soup! The place is always packed when I drive by though. Expect to wait a little bit for a table.

I think this Olive Garden is exceptional! We have visited some in our home state, but the Vero Beach location always has great food and service!

We got in late Friday night and did not want fast food. So with 30 minutes to spare, we made it to Olive Garden and were happily greeted and sat at a booth in the bar area. Some of the staff were already cleaning up but they were still ready to serve new customers walking in the door. Our server offered us a sample of Roscato ,a sweet red wine like Moscato, which is a white wine. I immediately fell in love with it and got a glass of it. My mother and I were checking out the specials and my mother decided on only appetizers this evening, the Spicy Calabrian Wings and the Stuffed Mushrooms. These wings sounded good from the way they were described in the menu: minced garlic and spices from Calabria with Gorgonzola sauce. When I tasted some of hers they weren't as spicy as I thought they would be, but the flavor was incredible. She happily ate all of those. The mushrooms are stuffed with clams, parmesean, romano, and mozzarella cheese with herb breadcrumbs on top. There's only 6 in an order so I didn't ask for one. She said they were very good and that she would demolish them all haha. I ordered the Spicy Fried Calamari, thinking it would be a small portion and I could eat the entree I was gonna order. When it came out, it was a huge portion. Our server said that by the end of the night the cooks just give out whatever is left in the batch. That's good to know. I ate about a third of it and boxed up the rest. For my entree, I got the Pappardelle Pescatore and I did end up eating all of it. It's pappardelle pasta with sauteed shrimp, bay scallops, clams, in a red pepper sauce with asparagus and tomatoes. Boy that is a good pasta dish. By this time we were both full and happy. We thanked our server, the hostess, and the manager profusely for letting us sit down and order food so close to closing time and they all said it was no problem. So if you're ever in their neighborhood late at night, go check'em out! They'll be glad to serve you.

Every visit is an individual rating...this one was 4 almost kissing a five! Shocker, right? I'm pretty tough, I admit and while OG is my kids fave...I'm kinda middle of the road. I must confess I think they do several dishes that could make it toe-to-toe with some finer establishments. The Alfredo sauce is to die for! The mushroom ravioli will leave you more than satisfied and there is a chicken gnocchi soup that I could eat by the vat. Overall our service last night was top notch. Tim was our sever...nervous at first as he seemed to have too many tables...fears were quelched quickly. The kitchen executed things perfectly, timing was spot on, visit from the manager...and bite size desserts for the kids. They got us in, nurtured us, unrushed, in a crowded environment made us feel special, did it with a smile and even ran my glasses to the car. Nice job!

Back at The Olive Garden! Yelping about it again, since I've noticed "something" that keeps happening. Although not to us this time, thank God! When there, the waiter & waitresses will go on & on about their OTHER jobs! Trying to pull you in, as if advertising themselves while on the job there! Even though this didn't happen THIS time to us, I heard it going on all around me! The food is still great though! But this would be annoying enough to bring it down a notch!

if this is an italian restaurant someone please let me know. we went there in 2008 when they opened not too long before. the lasagna looked like alpo lumped in a dish. the eggplant parm looked the same. it was all inedible. everything was sent back. the manager said they had just opened 6 months ago and the cooks are still trying to be more italian. i told him we didn't appreciate being their guinea pig and also what happened to your so called tuscan trained chefs? we went back two more times after that to give them a chance, but 3x and your out! things were sent back each time. the place is a disgrace. stay away. you can find something better. as far as chain italian restaurants go this is the worse and i wouldn't even consider it to be italian. below you will see a comment from some olive garden employee. its funny what a weekly bribe of a paycheck will make you say. i also see a handful of people saying how wonderful the place is. these are people who most likely never left florida and have no clue what true italian cuisine is all about. olive garden is like walking down the freezer section at walmart and picking out your dinner and heating it up. maybe i was brought up on fine italian restaurants in manhattan and i understand that, but peoples ignorance of what good italian food is no excuse here. people should just own up to it, when living in fl, people seem to just settle for whats here and make believe its great. most have no clue that it is all mediocre at best. olive garden is the furthest thing from being an italian restaurant and even further from being a good one. lets get real people!

We got a gift card so we decided to have lunch. I got the soup, salad, and bread sticks. It was good, not great. My husband had chicken parm. He said it was good. The service was friendly but pretty slow. My husband was done eating before she returned with more bread sticks and soup for me.

Olive garden is always a favorite. Tonight we had a friend with us who has a gluten allergy. I was surprised to find out they have a gluten free menu. We ordered chicken with gluten free pasta and Marinara sauce. Our friend ate it all up happily! My fave is eggplant parm. My son had the chicken Marsala. As big of an eater that he is, he couldn't finish it all. I'd suggest getting a lunch portion. All in all, a pleasant experience. We're stuffed!

We went to Olive Garden on July 22nd and ordered the 2 for $25. I ordered Eggplant parm. BIG mistake!! It was undercooked, tasteles and soggy, the sauce tasted like tomato puree without any seasonings. The cheese was shredded and fake mozzarella so it never melted. I told the waitress. She had the cook redo the eggplant. It was then so overcooked I couldn't cut it. I could not eat that dinner at all. I ate the appetizer which was fried calamari and very good! I was charged for the eggplant dinner. I filled out the survey when I got home and reported my complaint. I gave my name, address and phone #... Haven't heard anything form them. If you want good Italian food in Vero try Corraba,s or Italian Grill or Scampi Grill!!!!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
